Summary

A heartwarming cozy mystery series about losing everything, taking a chance, and starting again。

After suffering a personal tragedy Abby Sullivan buys a huge old seaside mansion she has never even seen, packs up her life in San Francisco, and moves to Holiday Bay Maine, where she is adopted, quite against her will, by a huge Maine Coon Cat named Rufus, a drifter with her own tragic past named Georgia, and a giant dog with an inferiority complex named Ramos。 What Abby thought she needed was alone time to heal。 What she ended up with was, an inn she never knew she wanted, a cat she couldn't seem to convince to leave, and a new family she'd never be able to live without。

In book 19 in the series, it's spring in Holiday Bay and new guests have arrived to enjoy the plentiful sunshine。 Lonnie has begun construction of the four new cottages and decisions relating to color and design keep Abby hopping。 Abby's most recent manuscript has been turned in leaving time in her schedule to pitch in as a volunteer for the annual spring events and everything is as it should be with the exception of the disturbing emails Georgia has been receiving。 So far Colt isn't too concerned chalking it up to an obsessive fan, but when the emails migrate from her work email to her personal account Colt decides it's time to put a stop to it。

changesI just solved a wonderful mystery and visited with old friends。 It’s both heartwarming and sad when relationships change or evolve。 The past is strong but the future is stronger。 As Georgia moves in with Tanner, Abby will be by herself。 Or sharing space with Colt? Businesses change hands and life moves forward。 In the midst of all this change, murder takes place。 A fisherman is dead and the question is was it an accident or murder? I enjoy these stories and I love the people that inhabit changesI just solved a wonderful mystery and visited with old friends。 It’s both heartwarming and sad when relationships change or evolve。 The past is strong but the future is stronger。 As Georgia moves in with Tanner, Abby will be by herself。 Or sharing space with Colt? One of my favorite seriesI have enjoyed this series right from the start。 Great character’s and always a good mystery。 I think reading from the start is best as you get to know characters and see the changes they go through。 Look forward to the next one。

This may be the 19th book in the series but Ms。 Daley never allows the stories to grow stale。 It was wonderful being back in Holiday Bay and visiting with all of the characters。 What a nice surprise to see George and Brit from Ms。 Daley's Writer's Retreat series again。 The story was quickly paced with clever twists that kept me turning the pages。 This may be the 19th book in the series but Ms。 Daley never allows the stories to grow stale。 It was wonderful being back in Holiday Bay and visiting with all of the characters。 What a nice surprise to see George and Brit from Ms。 Daley's Writer's Retreat series again。 The story was quickly paced with clever twists that kept me turning the pages。 。。。more

You will probably best enjoy this series if read in order but let me assure you you'll be happy you do。 This is one of my favorite series with wonderful characters。 I also enjoy the setting, the guests, who become good friends, and the mysteries。This time one of the darker, more sinister aspects of the book involves stalking。It affects Georgia, who is enjoying some success with a television show and cookbooks。And there is a murder in the community。 Since Holiday Bay is a close community and Abby You will probably best enjoy this series if read in order but let me assure you you'll be happy you do。 This is one of my favorite series with wonderful characters。 I also enjoy the setting, the guests, who become good friends, and the mysteries。This time one of the darker, more sinister aspects of the book involves stalking。It affects Georgia, who is enjoying some success with a television show and cookbooks。And there is a murder in the community。 Since Holiday Bay is a close community and Abby is involved with the local top cop, she can't keep herself from investigating。Catch up now because I feel changes are in the works! 。。。more

Abby owns an inn in Holiday Bay Maine, and seems to always help her boyfriend, the chief of police when there is a murder in and around town。 This time a body washes up on the docks where the victim kept his lobster boat。 Was it an accident or was he murdered。 It seems there were plenty of people who had an issue with the victim。 Luckily there is renovations going on at the inn so it is closed to guests and Abby is free to assist。

This is the nineteenth book in the Inn at Holiday Bay series。 The whole series has been wonderful and I've re-read many of them。 This book is one of my favorites。 Abby owns a fabulous inn and her best friend, Georgia manages it, while also doing her own TV cooking show。For a little while, Georgia has been getting very odd and slightly disturbing messages in her cooking show email, but now she has started getting them in her personal email, so things are getting seriously nerve-wracking。Abby's bo This is the nineteenth book in the Inn at Holiday Bay series。 The whole series has been wonderful and I've re-read many of them。 This book is one of my favorites。 Abby owns a fabulous inn and her best friend, Georgia manages it, while also doing her own TV cooking show。For a little while, Georgia has been getting very odd and slightly disturbing messages in her cooking show email, but now she has started getting them in her personal email, so things are getting seriously nerve-wracking。Abby's boyfriend, Colt, the local law enforcement, is currently involved with the death of a local lobsterman, which is suspicious, but not a clear case of murder。Great mystery and loads of really enjoyable human interaction。 Highly recommended。 。。。more

Hint in the Hashtag is the nineteenth book in Kathi Daley’s heartwarming Inn at Holiday Bay series。 The well-plotted storyline flows smoothly, and multiple twists and red herrings in the complex mystery keep the reader engaged。 The setting is charming, and the well-developed characters are three-dimensional, compassionate, and caring。 Every time I pick up one of Ms。 Daley’s books, I know that I’m in for a treat, and I’ve never been disappointed。 I highly recommend this series to readers who enjo Hint in the Hashtag is the nineteenth book in Kathi Daley’s heartwarming Inn at Holiday Bay series。 The well-plotted storyline flows smoothly, and multiple twists and red herrings in the complex mystery keep the reader engaged。 The setting is charming, and the well-developed characters are three-dimensional, compassionate, and caring。 Every time I pick up one of Ms。 Daley’s books, I know that I’m in for a treat, and I’ve never been disappointed。 I highly recommend this series to readers who enjoy well-crafted cozy mysteries。After Abby Sullivan lost her husband and their infant son in a tragic accident, she moved to Holiday Bay, Maine, opened the Inn at Holiday Bay, made a new life for herself, and found a home and a family。 Georgia Carter, who has also overcome obstacles in her life, is the inn’s talented cook/baker and manager, and she and her Newfoundland dog, Ramos, live with Abby, Rufus, a Maine Coon, and Molly, a terrier mix, in a cottage on the property。 Georgia’s cable cooking show, “Cooking with Georgia,” is doing well。 Jeremy Slater, who lives in the inn’s basement apartment with his young niece, Annabelle, is a valuable asset who helps with the inn’s day-to-day operations。Abby, Georgia, and Jeremy are looking forward to Lonnie’s crew completing their work on four of the eight cottages that will be available for guests to rent。 In recent months, Georgia began receiving unsettling emails at her “Cooking With Georgia” address, but when they grow darker in context and start arriving in her personal email account, she enlists the help of the bartender at the Bistro at Holiday Bay, who is a computer guru, to identify the sender。 Meanwhile, Colt is trying to determine if the death of a local lobsterman, Lewis Keaton, was accidental or intentional。 。。。more
